Flaman is hiring a Parts Advisor (Ag & Trailer) in Nisku, AB. You will advise customers in person and via phone, prepare invoices, create quotes, and manage parts inventory with accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintain excellent customer service and professional attitude
• Advise customers in person, over the phone, via email and through Kenect (text messaging) in a timely manner.
• Complete required paperwork with accuracy according to company policies, procedures and protocols
• Prepare detailed invoices and paperwork/scheduling for return of parts
• Create quotes and sale orders
• Accurately add parts to internal/external work orders
• Generate purchase orders
• Accurately process inter-branch transfer paperwork for inventory
• Remain current with product knowledge regarding parts, hardware and new equipment
• Offer expertise and knowledge on replacement parts, hardware and accessories
• Clearly identify and label all parts received for stock, special order or pre-sold products
• Use software programs and apps to navigate electronic databases and vendors catalogs online for sourcing and ordering of parts
• Follow up with customers, vendors and internal team members as needed
• Collaborate with internal departments across the organization
• Shipping and receiving for the Parts Department
• Working with customers and manufacturers to complete warranty forms/requests
• Assist with cycle and year-end inventory counts
• Provide back counter parts support (for mechanics)
• Heavy lifting - up to 55lbs on your own and over 100lbs as team lift
• Occasional requirement to travel for work out of town
• Other duties as required and/or tasked by Manager
• Overtime may be necessary during busy seasons

Skills and Qualifications:

• Recognize the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers
• Proficient with technology, computer applications, including Microsoft Office and other parts and inventory software programs
• Familiarity with trailers and agricultural equipment (considered an asset)
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Must be accountable, reliable and have good problem-solving skills
• The ability to multi-task and balance priorities
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Capable of safely lifting up to 55lbs solo & over 100 lbs. as team lift
• Good communication skills both verbal and written (fluent in English)
• Able to take direction and work as a team player
• Maintain a positive “can do” attitude
• Have great work ethic and eager to learn new things
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and satisfactory criminal record check
