Job summary

Flaman Sales is hiring a Yard/Shop Labourer in Calgary, AB. The role requires a Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license, ability to lift heavy items, and a customer-focused mindset. You will help with yard organization, equipment maintenance, and deliveries, working outdoors with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer relations skills and provide a great customer experience.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to assist with small repairs.
• Familiar with agricultural equipment / trailers is an asset.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Use safe work practices to ensure safety of staff and customers.
• Complete required paperwork according to company policies.
• Keep yard areas and equipment organized and clean, including washing trailers.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of products/equipment and trailers.
• Load/unload products and material (heavy lifting involved).
• Review products entering the yard to match BOLs.
• Assist customers with trailer hookups and service equipment.
• Drive company vehicles and deliver trailers to customer sites and other store locations.
• Monitor trailer and equipment placement in the yard and report damage to management.
• Primarily outdoors work; dress appropriately for weather.
