A local home improvement store in Timmins is seeking a Retail Sales Associate. Your role will involve interacting with customers, tinting paint, and using a point of sale system. Store hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm & Saturdays 9am-5pm. There are no evenings or Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with both commercial and retail customers, determining their needs and proposing appropriate products and services.
• Tinting paint using the Benjamin Moore color RX systems.
• Processing sales through a computerized point of sale system.
• Having an eye for visual merchandising and performing daily housekeeping duties within the store.
• Receiving shipments from paint and sundry suppliers.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotational basis.
• Bilingualism would be an asset but is not mandatory.
• Have a good eye for colour.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail or sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
