Job summary

Canna Cabana Inc. is seeking an energetic Part Time Shift Leader who is knowledgeable, responsible and mature to join our Lacombe team.

The role includes supervising daily operations, leading store staff, and delivering top-tier customer service. Based in Lacombe, Alberta, you will support the Store Manager in their absence, help meet sales targets and KPI’s, and ensure health and safety standards are consistently applied.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SellSafe Certification.
• High school completed and college/CEGEP/technical training required.
• Proven sales/service orientation is essential.
• At least 2 years in retail; cannabis industry experience preferred.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff, lead by example.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to store management for daily operations.
• Oversee duties in absence of Store Manager or ASM.
• Support personnel management on shift and address customer issues.
• Guide and instruct store associates; maintain standards.
• Ensure health, safety, and security regulations are followed.
• Assist in staffing to meet business needs when requested.
• Act as sales and customer service leader in SM/ASM absence.
• Greet customers and model exemplary conduct.
• Handle complaints and escalate as needed.
• Maintain inventory processes and oversee stock on shift.
