Job summary

Canna Cabana Banff Avenue is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to support store management, supervise daily operations, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires a mature, hardworking individual ready to lead by example on shift.

You will help manage staff, meet sales targets, uphold health and safety standards, and maintain inventory accuracy. Previous retail experience, SellSafe certification, and strong communication are essential; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Must have SellSafe Certification.
• High school diploma plus college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required.
• Minimum 2 years retail experience; cannabis industry preferred.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff; lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily store operations.
• Oversee Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Lead on shift to meet sales targets and KPI.
• Ensure health, safety and security standards are upheld.
• Foster teamwork and train staff on procedures.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor inventory and inventory processes on shift.
