Job summary

CIMA+ in Western Canada is seeking an Intermediate Protection and Control (P&C) Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to large-scale electrical energy projects. You will evolve beside experienced professionals on substations, hydroelectric facilities and renewable energy initiatives, shaping design solutions across Canada.

This role requires a university degree in Electrical Engineering, P.Eng eligibility with EBGC, and 8+ years in P&C projects; fluent English; strong

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering.
• P.Eng eligibility/registration with EBGC or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in P&C projects.
• Knowledge of protection and control principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and review protection and control drawings for substations and power systems.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, project managers and other teams.
• Prepare plans, drawings and calculations from specifications.
• Perform QA/QC of P&C design packages.
