Our SARNIA BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for an AFTERMARKET OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATVE to join our team!
What You Will Do:
The Aftermarket Outside Sales Representative embodies the FGI brand by traveling to customers to sell FGI products and services within their designated territory. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:
Travel to customer locations, engage with current and new customers and build strong business relationships
Forecast and develop potential sales orders for all customers
Provide reporting on accounts outlining customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Review new product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends as they are released
Collaborate with suppliers to develop leads and support products in the field
Participate in training programs with vendors, sales reps and other cross development areas
Work closely with regional managers, branch managers, corporate head office and inventory support teams to ensure product and service delivery
May deliver parts to customer locations
Other duties as assigned
What We Require:
Up to 5 years of experience in an outside heavy-duty parts sales role or similar industry (Agriculture, Equipment, Trailers) preferred
Valid driver's license and a recent driver’s abstract with no major infractions in the last 5 years required
Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Occasionally required to lift and/or move up product from 50 to 100 lbs from floor to waist, travel to customer locations on roadways and highways for long periods of time, frequent sitting, standing and walking at customer locations
Proficiency with multiple languages is preferred but not required
Previous experience with a CRM system is preferred but not required
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
