A major utility company in Halifax is seeking an Outage Coordination Engineer in Training to coordinate outages in generation, transmission, and distribution. The successful candidate will maintain outage schedules, communicate impacts to stakeholders, and ensure system requirements are met. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and membership eligibility in Engineers Nova Scotia are required, along with strong communication and analytical skills. This is a full-time, onsite position with a hybrid work model available.

We are currently looking for an Outage Coordination Engineer in Training to join our Control Centre Operations team in a full‑time position. Reporting to the Grid Operations and Security Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of generation, transmission, and distribution outages.
You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co‑workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
Note: The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check in accordance with NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards.
