A regional health center in North Bay is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the outpatient Eating Disorders Program. The successful candidate will analyze patient nutritional needs, support patients and families, and work with an interdisciplinary team. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, relevant clinical experience, and strong counseling skills. Bilingualism in English and French is required. Pay rate, benefits and other terms and conditions are as per the OPSEU 662 Collective Agreement.
As part of the interdisciplinary team with the outpatient Eating Disorders Program (EDP) the Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible to provide detailed analysis of patient nutritional needs and recommendations, as well as patient and family support related to eating and feeding. The RD works in partnership with the EDP interdisciplinary team to follow the Ontario Quality Standards for Eating Disorders and evidence based practice for people with an eating disorder and their families.
