Qualifications

Join our team and play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle procurement of complex systems, equipment, and materials for the River Class Destroyer (RCD) program. Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement activities across a portfolio of high-value, critical packages;
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to develop comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with program goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement activities support project timelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee the full supplier lifecycle—from pre-qualification and onboarding to performance evaluation and relationship management.
  • Lead RFI/RFP development, supplier negotiations, contract preparation, and post-award administration.
  • Mentor and develop emerging supply chain professionals to build future leadership capability and strengthen organizational talent pipelines.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
