Job Duties
  • Lead and support drivers and warehouse staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Create driver schedules and verify hours worked in compliance with Hours of Service regulations.
  • Monitor service levels to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Assist dispatchers and planners in troubleshooting and resolving daily issues.
  • Achieve goals in safety, quality, productivity, and customer service.
  • Promote and enforce Health & Safety guidelines, operational policies, and procedures.
  • Support recruitment and staffing efforts to maintain adequate workforce levels.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead-hand experience in transportation, logistics, or a related industry.
  • High school diploma (post-secondary education is an asset).
  • Solid understanding of Hours of Service (HOS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and dispatch processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience scheduling staff in a variable work-volume environment.
