Job summary

A government relations firm in Ottawa is seeking a Mid-Senior level administrative professional to implement and evaluate administrative procedures. The candidate will establish work priorities, assist with the operating budget, and manage office services. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, along with strong computer skills including MS Office and accounting software, is required. This is a full-time position with no remote work option.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
