Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a Heavy-Duty Equipment Operator to operate excavator, front end loader and scrap metal handler in a safe, efficient manner. The role includes loading scrap, sorting materials, performing pre-operational checks and ensuring a clean, orderly workplace.

You will work continental rotational shifts 6:00AM–6:00PM and 6:00PM–6:00AM on a rotating 14-day cycle, with overtime and growth opportunities. Valid driver's license required; OSSD preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Scrap Handler and Hauler.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader, Hauler.
• Operate attachments (e.g., Grapple, Magnet) as assigned.
• Load scrap metal as directed.
• Sort, stack and process materials as directed.
• Complete pre-operational checks and related documentation.

Hours of Work:

Continental rotational shift rotation 6:00AM – 6:00PM & 6:00PM – 6:00AM (7 scheduled shifts every 14 days)

What’s Expected:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader, Hauler.
• Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.);
• Load scrap metal as assigned.
• Sort, stack, process materials as directed.
• Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed.
• Complete pre-operational equipment checks, and other documentation as assigned.
• Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
• Other general duties as assigned by Manager.

You have:

• Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Scrap Handler, Hauler.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong communication both written and verbal.
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
