Job summary

A leading beverage company in Hamilton is looking for a Summer Field Sales Representative to join their Ontario sales team. This full-time summer position, starting in May, offers experience in merchandising and consumer engagement while developing critical sales and analytical skills. Ideal candidates are third or fourth year university students who are flexible with work hours and hold a valid driver's license. This role provides a unique opportunity to be a brand ambassador and present insights to leadership at the end of the summer.

In the role of a Summer Field Sales Representative in Hamilton you will be part of the Ontario sales teams. You will be exposed to the ever growing, fast paced beverage industry. You will engage in real‑world problem solving and be immersed in social and educational opportunities with other representatives.

The contract is full‑time, beginning in May and ending in August. Upon graduation, representatives may be eligible for full‑time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company.

This position reports to the Territory Sales Manager and works closely with the Territory Sales Representatives, Merchandisers, and other teams from different functions.

What You’ll Be Brewing
  • Experience sales team training to develop your professional skill set with a focus on sales and marketing, the consumer, and analytics.
  • Merchandising – Setting up signage, merchandise and promotional materials at accounts and events.
  • Represent Molson Coors as a brand ambassador with our consumers, customers, and members within your community.
  • Reporting – Understanding and identifying business performance, distribution and volume opportunities within on‑premises customers.
  • You will be part of a small group that will be responsible to present key insights and recommendations to build on the role of SUMMER FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE, and present to MCBC Leaders at the end of the summer.
Qualifications
  • You are a third or fourth year pursuing a University or College degree.
  • You have the ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule if needed, including some evenings and weekends and light travel.
  • You have a valid driver’s license with no limitations/restrictions. You will be required to provide a recent copy of a Driver’s Abstract. You have (or can get) your Smart Serve Certificate (or provincial equivalent).
  • You are a resident of (or familiar with) assigned territory.
  • You have an innate ability to build empathy with consumers, in particular millennials and diverse consumers.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.

Field sales summer representative will have access to a Molson vehicle for the summer to use for work purposes, Sales IPAD, & Cell phone $ budget, paid $20/hour.
