Job summary

A community health organization in Ottawa is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary health care and Opioid Agonist Treatment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing, experience in a public health setting, and be bilingual in French and English. Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in community and/or public health settings.
• Experience working with marginalized populations including people with substance use disorder.
• Experience providing Opioid Agonist Treatment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care and Opioid Agonist Treatment to clients.
• Work closely with the Oasis team to deliver health care services.
• Achieve desired health goals for all clients.

Advanced French (oral expression)

Fluency in English (oral and written)

Excellent counseling skills

Excellent physical assessment skills

Strong crisis intervention skills
