The Nurse Educator – Virtual & Digital Care is responsible for the development, facilitation, implementation and evaluation of educational and professional development programmes and resources for nursing and other healthcare groups working in the digital healthcare environment. The role contributes to the improvement of clinical standards and quality of patient care through evidence‑based, innovative training, research and quality improvement activities. Areas of accountability include leadership, education, technology integration, clinical guidance and quality improvement. The Nurse Educator works in collaboration with colleagues and the Nursing Director and maintains practice within the scope defined by the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
