Job Description
  • Assist patients with hygiene activities such as toileting, bathing, brushing teeth, changing clothes.
  • Support patients with meals by feeding them.
  • Regularly wash/clean.
  • Monitor vital signs and report associated symptoms to a registered nurse.
  • Provide and clean bed linen.
  • Assist patients with mobility problems to move.
  • Transport sufferers through wheelchair or stretcher for remedy or surgery.
  • Carry messages, reports, requisitions and specimens among departments.
  • Maintain stock of supplies.
  • May carry out preservation duties which include helping with the set-up and preservation of traction equipment, cleansing or sterilizing equipment, keeping and repairing equipment, and assembling, setting-up and working job-associated equipment.
  • May ship sufferers among care facilities.
  • Take sufferers’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
  • Accompany sufferers on out of doors leisure sports and carry out different responsibilities associated with affected person care and comfort.
  • Organize and suggest activities with patients and accompany them.
  • Monitor exercises performed by the patient.
  • Prepare and transport patients undergoing treatment and surgery.
  • Distribute messages, reports, requests, and templates from one department to another.
  • Make the bed and keep the room clean.
