Job summary

Dexterra Group in Toronto is seeking a detail-oriented night cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our site. You will work independently to meet high cleanliness standards while adhering to health and safety protocols. This is a permanent part-time evening position with five shifts per week.

Shifts run from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, 5:00PM to 10:00PM, or 5:00PM to 11:00PM. Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, and able to lift up to 25 lbs, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills – mandatory.
• Cleaning/janitorial experience is an asset (minimum 6 months preferred).
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods in a public-facing environment.
• Able to communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, and office members.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitization of offices, pantries, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors using proper techniques.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and equipment per protocols.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Manage time to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Participate in trainings and educational programs.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional night cleaners to join our team in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our site. You will work independently to ensure all areas meet our high cleanliness standards while adhering to health and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and committed to delivering quality work on a consistent basis. This is a permanent part-time evening position with a schedule of five (5) shifts per week.

Available Shifts:

5:00PM to 9:00PM, 5:00PM to 10:00PM and 5:00PM to 11:00PM

Your Work Will Include

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including offices, pantries, restrooms, common areas, and specialized spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and equipment according to established protocols.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in a timely manner.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory of materials.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Participate in educational programs and in-service trainings.
