Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a heavy-duty evening Supervisor to oversee the staff and cleaning of the entire office building, washrooms, kitchenettes, cafeteria, cubicles, meeting rooms and offices. You will manage inventory, ensure all client tickets are completed, and assist in duties when needed to improve the area and train staff.

The role requires reliability, flexibility for evening shifts, and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising cleaning staff and operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists with budgeted hours for the location and assigns daily tasks.
• Oversees cleaning staff across offices, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Inspects performance and ensures client tickets are completed.
• Trains new cleaning personnel and enforces safety PPE use.
• Maintains timekeeping records and inventory control.

As a heavy dutyevening Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the staff and the tasks. Cleaning of the entire office building and all areas, washrooms, kitchenettes, cafeteria, cubicles, meeting rooms and offices. Oversee stock and inventory, ensure all assignments and tickets and from client is completed. Assisting in the duties when short or to improve the area and training of staff.

Your work will include:

• Assists with controlling budgeted hours for the assigned location.
• Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspects the work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance is at the expected levels.
• Assists with site training of new cleaning personnel
• Trains and implements Health & Safety procedures and ensures that safety devices and PPE are available and properly utilized.
• Maintains time keeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow up.
• Responsible for inventory control .
• Supervising Strip and wax crew experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain a reliability security clearance.
• Knowledge of our preferred vendors considered an asset (Ecolab, Tennant , Globe etc. )
