Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring an Office Cleaner in Victoria, BC. You will maintain facilities to a high standard, focusing on floors, washrooms, and common areas while supporting a clean and safe work environment.

You will work Tuesday to Thursday 9:30 PM – 2:30 AM and Friday & Saturday 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM, earning $18.25/hour with eligibility for benefits after 3 full-time months.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of cleaning experience.
• Floor care experience is an asset.
• Comfort standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Clear and respectful communication with supervisor, client and team.
• Must pass a clear criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors, washrooms and garbage bins.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms and common areas.
• Replenish supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, soap).
• Dust all visible surfaces including fixtures and ledges.
• Spot clean lobby floors and vacuum entrance mats.

As an office Cleaner, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.

Your Work Will Include

• Maintaining the floors, washrooms and garbage bins of the facility
• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and play areas
• Replenishing any used or missing supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap)
• Dusting all visible surfaces within reach which includes phone booths, counter tops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents
• Spot cleaning all lobby floors and wash thoroughly as required
• Vacuuming all entrance mats in lobbies
