Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking an overnight Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of our facilities in Hamilton, Ontario. The 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM shift runs Sunday through Wednesday, with Thursday–Saturday off.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, washrooms, and common areas, restocking supplies, and dusting visible surfaces. A positive attitude, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand on feet for 8 hours.
• Floor care experience is an asset (scrub, buff, polish floors).
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and machines.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, client and general public.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.

• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and entrance areas
• Replenishing any used or missing supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap)
• Dusting all visible surfaces within reach which includes phone booths, counter tops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents
• Spot cleaning all lobby floors and wash thoroughly as requiredVacuuming all entrance mats in lobbies

As a heavy duty overnight Cleaner, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level. The overnight shift is 10:00PM – 6:00AM. Sunday-Wednesday off Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
