Your Next Challenge

Reporting to the Geology Supervisor, you will be part of the Geology Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a licensed Professional Geologist, supporting a long‑term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.

  • Assist with daily geological tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support the planning, design and scheduling of geological programs and production activities.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering to optimize mine performance.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.
  • Learn to use mine engineering software and tools.
  • Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.
  • Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional licensure.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.

Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast‑paced environment.

Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

Your Work Schedule:

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.

You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site.
