What you’ll do

• Zone the department.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; slices and prepares merchandise, such as meat, cheese, fried chicken; and provides requested assistance.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizes slicers, stackers and other utensils; prepares chicken using rotisserie oven and deep fryer; and fills prepared salads and side dishes for placement into display area and fulfills specialty orders from customers as required.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
