Marketing & Communications Officer

Location: Greater London, South East London
Salary: £38,000 - £49,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent

Exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications officer – hybrid role based in South East London. You'll be joining a relatively new team in a new role, supporting internal engagement and external visibility within a multi‑award winning non‑profit social enterprise.

Multi‑award winning non‑profit social enterprise (Great Place to Work certified). This forward‑thinking organisation strives to enhance lives and advance society through provision of supported housing, health and wellbeing support, resettlement support, etc.

About the Role

This new role is to support the team in strengthening the organisation's internal engagement and external visibility through high‑quality marketing and communications. You will deliver creative and digital activity across multiple channels, ensuring the brand, voice and messaging are consistent, accurate, and professionally represented. You will engage with residents, staff, partners and external stakeholders.

  • Managing social media channels and campaigns
  • Creating and editing digital content
  • Using digital analytics tools
  • Supporting or coordinating events and exhibitions
  • Managing agency relationships

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, initially 1 day per week working from home, increasing to 2 days after 6 months.

About You
  • Solid experience in marketing, digital media and communications (clientside ideally)
  • Ability to create and edit digital content
  • Experience in managing social media channels
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Experience using website CMS platforms (Wix, WordPress or similar)
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
