First Nations Insurance Services (FNIS) is an insurance brokerage that specializes in group health benefits, including group health and pension plans. The brokerage also provides individual insurance and pension products. We currently have offices in Prince Albert and Saskatoon.

LaRoche McDonald Agencies (LMA) is an SGI motor licensing issuing office and property and commercial insurance office with two offices in Saskatoon and one in Prince Albert.

This role is a Full‑time in‑person role at our Prince Albert or Saskatoon office.

Marketing and Communications Manager

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring consistent, meaningful interaction with our audience both online and offline. The role blends marketing, public relations, communications and community building to create meaningful connections and support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrated Campaigns: Develop and roll out multi‑channel marketing programs (digital, print, social) that build brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Community & Stakeholder Outreach: Forge and maintain relationships with local groups, plan sponsors, clients and media to expand our footprint.
  • Event Coordination: Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of virtual and in‑person events—workshops, trade shows, client appreciation and staff gatherings.
  • Communications Planning: Design and manage a cadence of communications (email newsletters, client updates, sponsor reports) that keep all audiences informed and inspired.
  • Content Oversight: Commission, edit or create educational and promotional content (newsletters, blogs, social posts) aligned to our brand.
  • Partnership Management: Identify and activate cross‑promotional opportunities with community groups, media outlets and industry partners.
  • Performance Evaluation: Collect and interpret feedback (surveys, social listening, analytics) to refine tactics and report on ROI.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Own the marketing budget—forecast, track spending.
  • Team Leadership: Directly supervise the Marketing Coordinator, setting priorities, providing coaching and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule.
