True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Manager, Partnerships to drive revenue growth and build strong business relationships across our diverse portfolio.

As a Manager, Partnership Sales you will drive revenue growth and expand True North’s partnership network across all subsidiaries. Your role includes developing and nurturing local partnerships, executing strategic sales initiatives, and crafting innovative sponsorship solutions to strengthen key relationships. From securing new sponsorships to enhancing existing agreements, your impact will shape both the fan experience and True North’s long-term success.

What to be excited for in this role
  • Identify and attract new business opportunities across a range of industries, with a focus on local and emerging markets.
  • Utilize industry trends and analytics to understand our consumers and tailor partnership strategies that deliver real value.
  • Provide top-tier service to account base for the retention and growth of existing customers and the development of new business.
  • Target and qualify new partnership lead, with a primary focus on the development of local brands.
  • Proactively connect with potential partners through high volume of outbound calls, emails, and networking to expand our business reach.
  • In collaboration with the Partnership Integration team, communicate and work directly with customers on the implementation and activation of all components of the partnership agreement.
  • Achieve and exceed partnership revenue goals by securing fully integrated partnerships across multiple industries.
  • Oversee sponsorship agreements, activation plans, financial negotiations, and timely reporting to keep everything running smoothly.
What we need from you
  • Post Secondary Education in Business Administration, Commerce or related fields.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorship sales.
  • A results-driven professional with a strong ability to meet performance targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Skilled in prospecting and negotiation, utilizing cold calls, email, and social channels to build strong partnerships.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with expertise in developing and selling comprehensive partnership solutions.
  • A strong communicator and presenter who can engage key decision-makers and foster lasting business relationships.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring efficient management of multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in both independent and team-oriented environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
