The Manager – Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of HR functions for the India operations in alignment with corporate policies and business objectives. This role drives strategic HR initiatives including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits management, and training and development. The position ensures legal compliance, supports workforce planning, fosters a positive work culture, and provides leadership in resolving employee relations matters. The Manager – Human Resources also develops HR metrics, reports, systems, and processes to support business decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain strong alignment with organizational goals. With extensive HR experience and strong leadership capabilities, the role plays a key part in supporting employee growth, organizational development, and business success.
- Provide input to the corporate Human Resources Division for the development of the Human Resources business plan, such as key HR statistics
- Provide cost efficient Human Resources services to facilitate business needs in India
Key Responsibilities (Customer Focus)
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)
- Enforce corporate Human Resources policies and procedures related to talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, and personnel affairs within India
- Enforce the usage of HR standard forms and templates in India, including standard employment contracts, timesheets, vacation request forms etc. as per corporate policies and procedures
- Provide market intelligence on the suitability of current compensation levels compared to the market to the Human Resources - India Section
- Manage and maintain an India employees database
- Launch the appraisal process for India staff in accordance with policies, guidelines and forms communicated by corporate Human Resources
- Match appraisers to appraisees and review self-assessment forms for completeness
- Review completed assessment results and submit to the Human Resources (India) Section
- Communicate changes to grade, promotion and employment status to local employees according to the performance appraisal process in coordination with Human Resources (India) Section
- Develop Human Resources statistics and reports for the Geography Manager and corporate Human Resources
Experience, Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies
- 15+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Human Resources
- Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry is an advantage
- In depth understanding of all Human Resource principles including recruitment, career development, training, personnel affairs, organization development and compensation
- Good working knowledge of labor laws
- Familiarity with usage of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll systems and other HR ERP systems
