The role involves conducting EDD risk assessments, partnering with compliance units, and ensuring that regulatory timelines are met. The Manager, High Risk Client Management (HRCM) supports the Senior Manager and Director by providing direction and execution of core risk decisions related to the identification, review, management, and escalation of higher risk clients including the risk assessment and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes to mitigate against financial, regulatory, reputational, and legal risks at RBC using a risk-based approach. This role also requires the following: assisting in the identification, confirmation, management, and approval process for the on-boarding and periodic review and assessment of high risk clients, as required; and committing to on-going professional development, to ensure that individual and collective team knowledge is current and comprehensive so that outcomes, including decisions and recommendations, are based on a thorough understanding of risk involved and are made in the context of AML / CTF regulatory requirements.
