Job summary

UniFirst Canada is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Tech I to join our team. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, both indoor and outdoor, including boilers, washers, convey systems and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of maintenance experience repairing industrial equipment.
• Must read and understand maintenance literature in English.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required; safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Follow blueprints, manuals, and specifications for maintenance work.
• Conduct safety checks on boilers, and perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Record meter readings and adjust as needed to ensure optimal operation.
• Respond to alarms and support emergency repairs with the team.
