UniFirst Canada is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team. You will perform repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, boilers, and related systems indoors and outdoors.

The role involves following blueprints and safety procedures, using CMMS, and supporting emergency and routine maintenance tasks. We offer an on-the-job training, a Monday–Friday work week, and opportunities for career growth within a family culture.

Qualifications

• High school and/or GED is required.
• Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
• Minimum 5th Class Power Engineer.
• Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsabilités

• Operate and troubleshoot industrial equipment, boilers and systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics and manuals for repairs and installation.
• Perform safety checks and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Use CMMS to record repairs and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with team for non-emergency repairs.
