Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a sawmill or manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading technical teams in a unionized setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding and PLC systems.

What You’ll Do

• Enforce maintenance safety programs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise and support the maintenance team through training, communication, and performance management.
• Develop and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using best practices and CMMS tools.
• Manage inventory, analyze data, and implement projects to reduce downtime, control costs, and improve plant performance.

What You Offer

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Red Seal Certification as a Millwright or Electrician.
• 3–5 years in a sawmill or manufacturing environment with experience leading technical teams in a unionized setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and proficiency in electrical, mechanical, welding, and PLC systems.
