Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a General Store Manager in Jasper, AB. Reporting to the Assistant Director Food & Beverage, you will lead and develop supervisors, manage payroll and scheduling, and ensure service standards and financial performance in a luxury retail and cafe setting.

The role requires at least 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced high-end restaurant, strong beverage knowledge, POS experience, and a focus on guest satisfaction within a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Leader in a fast-paced high end restaurant required.
• Excellent beverage and wine knowledge is required.
• Previous point of sale system experience required.
• Luxury Cafe experience and retail experience an asset.
• High volume experience is an asset.
• Experience with Unionized environment an asset.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor supervisors and staff to deliver professional service.
• Manage scheduling, payroll and labour costs while maintaining standards.
• Ensure SOPs, training, and standards manuals are current; enforce procedures.
• Drive department profitability through upselling and cost control.
• Coordinate with other departments and maintain clean, safe venue operations.
