Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in the Canadian Rockies invites a General Manager, Outlets, to lead a premier dining operation with vision and engagement. You will recruit and develop leaders, coach staff for superior guest service, and participate in forecasting and month-end analysis.

Requires 5+ years in F&B management, Proserve, strong beverage/wine knowledge, and proficiency with hospitality systems. Canada-wide mobility and a passion for excellence are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management.
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledge required.
• “Proserve” Certified.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs.
• Minimum of one year experience in a high volume bar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but not required.
• Experience with Silverware is preferred.
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset.

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Responsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation.
• Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees.
• Actively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management.
