Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, nestled in the Canadian Rockies, invites a seasoned General Manager, Outlets, to lead our premier dining venues. You will shape service standards, mentor leaders, and drive day-to-day operations in a high-volume setting.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, you will forecast, coach staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all outlets. Experience in luxury hospitality and strong beverage, culinary, and wine knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management.
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledge.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Responsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation.
• Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees.
• Actively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary.

As a General Manager, Restaurant youwill provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality,efficiencyand superior service. This position willbe responsible forthe effective and efficientday to dayoperation ofafat pacedpremier dining establishment.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage,responsibilitiesand essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledgerequired
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs
• Minimum of one year experience in ahigh volumebar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but notrequired
• Experience with Silverware is preferred
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset

Visa Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable toassistcandidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
