Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta is seeking an In Room Dining Manager to lead a high-end dining team in a luxury resort setting. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will recruit, train, and develop supervisors, manage schedules and payroll, uphold service standards, and drive department profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

The role requires at least 3 years of leadership experience, strong beverage and wine knowledge, POS

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Leader in a fast-paced high end restaurant required
• Excellent beverage and wine knowledge is required
• Previous point of sale system experience required
• Experience with Unionized environment an asset
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Responsabilités

• Recruit, train, manage, mentor, lead and develop your supervisors and colleagues
• Effective performance management through focus on colleague development training, problem resolution, attendance, scheduling, and payroll
• Act as liaison between In Room Dining staff and other departments
• Supervise and support employees while maintaining service standards
• Maintain a first class visual impact including ambiance, cleanliness, decor and service flows
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies; follow SOPs and standards manuals
• Foster an inclusive environment and embody the Fairmont brand promise
