Employment Details
  • Employment type: Full time, Permanent
  • Hours: 40 to 60 per week (Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available)
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: $36.00 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
  • Will train (no prior experience required)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel cross‑border and internationally
  • Long‑haul transportation experience (desired)
