Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Mississauga is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to enhance efficiency in legal spend management. Qualifications

  • Experience with legal eBilling platforms and familiarity with UTBMS/LEDES standards.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and skills in building dashboards.
  • Interest in or experience with AI tools.
  • Knowledge of financial close processes, including accruals.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Legal Department’s eBilling system and ensure compliance.
  • Manage vendor records and relationships to avoid delays.
  • Examine and reconcile billing data, resolving discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for reporting insights.
  • Provide budgeting and forecasting support for the legal department.
  • Collaborate with Finance on month-end close activities.
  • Research and resolve billing inquiries effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization.
