We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Leasing Agent to be the welcoming face of a residential community. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available rental units
- Provide accurate information on the property and surrounding areas
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information
- Assist with the application and leasing process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately
- Follow up with prospective tenants to maintain interest and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain knowledge of current rental rates, availability, and property features
- Assist in preparing lease agreements and related paperwork
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a smooth leasing process
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to attract potential tenants
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and fair housing laws
- Inspect all vacant suites and prepare model suites to ensure show-ready condition
- Confirm resident has transferred utility accounts, where applicable
- Prepare resident move-in packages
- Handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns professionally and courteously
- Accept rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees
- Ensure lead tracking software is consistently updated
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in rental administration is an asset
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proven experience in a fast-paced sales environment
- Demonstrates a positive, professional attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury leasing role
