Job description

Founded in 1982 by members of the Armoyan family, Armco Capital Inc. has grown from a small family business into a diversified and dynamic group of companies with locations in Canada and the US. Armco continues to grow; both in business diversification, development, and its team of dedicated professionals.

We have an exciting project under construction, a residential high-rise tower in downtown Montreal. The expected date for occupancy is September 2025.

We are currently seeking a bilingual, energetic, and results-oriented leasing agent (real estate broker license not required) to join our Quebec team at Armco Immobilier.

Leasing Agent

Reporting to the property manager, the leasing agent is responsible for leasing residential units, reviewing, negotiating, and preparing leases. The position is full-time, 5 days a week, including weekends.

Essential Duties

  • Leasing residential apartments
  • Handling all communications related to leasing, in person, by phone, and by email, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conducting tours with potential tenants, organizing and conducting open houses
  • Negotiating and preparing leases
  • Following up with potential tenants to close the sale
  • All tasks related to the proper administration of a leasing office
  • Work with the broker community and listing brokers
  • Other related tasks required to facilitate the rental of a residential property
  • Weekly and monthly reports on rental activity, including inquiries, visits, calls, etc.

Requirements

  • Degree in business or equivalent and/or a minimum of 3 years' experience as a leasing agent
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the Internet
  • Good knowledge of Yardi, our property management program.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work weekends
  • Must be a team player with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
