Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate safe work behaviours at all times.
  • Perform daily functions of the Parts Operations including warehouse duties.
  • Ensure customers’ needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory.
  • Provide on-call service for emergency parts orders.
  • Safely operate lift truck.
  • Assemble hoses and package dangerous goods.
  • Assist with the organization of inventory.

Toromont Cat is looking for a Lead Hand - Parts Warehouse Person to join their team in Sudbury! The plays a key role in coordinating and executing day to day operations in the warehouse to ensure the entire team is providing superior service to the internal and external customers.

In a typical day
  • Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
  • Perform all daily functions of the Parts Operations including parts warehouse duties as necessary, including processing shop and customer orders, stock order receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
  • Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
  • Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
  • Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis
  • Safely operate lift truck
  • Assemble hoses
  • Packaging and shipping of dangerous goods
  • Assist with the organization and control of inventory
