A leading aerospace company in Canada is seeking a Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Lead Engineer to develop computed tomography inspection solutions for innovative materials and products. This role involves working with cross-functional teams, meeting aviation quality standards, and developing inspection methods. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in X-ray/CT inspection. The Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Lead Engineer will be responsible for developing computed tomography (CT) inspection solutions for new material systems and new product development in additive manufacturing, turbine airfoils, and composites. You will work with and sometimes lead cross-functional teams with innovative technologies to develop and validate new materials and components using nondestructive evaluation methods. You will lead the throughput and solution creation process for microCT systems in the lab. As those designs mature for use in products, you will have the opportunity to transition the inspection methods to a production environment.
