Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year experience teaching and lifeguarding.
• Current Standard First Aid CPR-C and AED.
• Current National Lifeguard Pool certification.
• Current Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor certification.
• Experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily instruction and safety supervision for all aquatic programming.
• Enforce admission guidelines during all open swim programming.
• Act as Lead Hand in the absence of full-time staff.
• Document all incidents, near misses, and rescues.
• Maintain the pool readiness through daily maintenance.
