Your role

You will support the team in various matters and provide advisory services to members of the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying conflicts of interest and developing ethical walls;
  • Maintaining and applying compliance procedures in various situations;
  • Drafting various reports and files;
  • Analyzing information in accordance with regulations and policies;
  • Contributing to multiple compliance-related projects;
  • Ensuring ongoing training for teams and designing / updating procedural documents;
  • Acting as the go-to resource for employees regarding compliance programs.
Skills Required
  • Postsecondary degree in law;
  • Membership in a Canadian provincial bar is a definite asset;
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services environment;
  • Strong bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Autonomy, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities;
  • Attention to detail, proactivity, and analytical thinking;
  • Strong communication skills and excellent client service.
