Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. in Niagara Region, Ontario is seeking a hands-on Store Team Leader to deliver warm, engaging customer service and oversee daily operations of fresh food service.

You will lead a collaborative team, coach staff, supervise floor operations, uphold Health & Safety and HACCP standards in a fast-paced store environment, and contribute to training and scheduling. You will also support local community initiatives and promote Farm Boy's service standards to customers.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post‑secondary program with emphasis in culinary arts and 1 year of similar role experience.
• Ability to work independently with a focus on quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with interest in team engagement, coaching, and development.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, engaging customer service reflecting Farm Boy’s fresh-shopping focus.
• Welcome customers using Farm Boy Service Standards and share product knowledge.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and floor support by delegating tasks and ensuring readiness for business.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot/cold bar, grill, and service cases with quality and presentation.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture through hands-on coaching and training.
• Promote policies and communicate updated objectives from store leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas and perform housekeeping duties.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP procedures and proper equipment use.
• Support the team with additional duties periodically.
