Farm Boy is seeking a hands-on Department Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional fresh food and service. You’ll train, coach, and coordinate a team while ensuring strong customer engagement and operational excellence across the department.

Responsibilities include inventory management, scheduling, payroll, and maintaining health and safety standards in a fast-paced store environment in Barrie, Ontario. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Formación

• Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in Culinary Management, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with the Department Manager to lead delivery of exceptional food and service experiences.
• Coach, motivate, and recognize team members while maintaining trust and professionalism.
• Lead regular huddles to share goals, celebrate successes, and improve product knowledge.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bar and grill stations.
• Support daily department operations including merchandising, staffing, and cleanliness.
• Provide office and administrative support including inventory, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and company policies.
