Job summary

Cloud Nine Cannabis is seeking a Keyholder/Cannabis Sales Associate for our Fort Street location in Victoria, BC. The role combines high-energy customer service with leadership responsibilities to support a smooth, compliant retail operation.

You will open/close the store, assist in guiding team members, handle transactions, stock inventory, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike. Prior supervisory experience and a Selling It Right certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Valid Selling It Right certification required.
• 1 year supervisory/keyholder experience preferred.
• 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Full-time availability, including retail scheduling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Able to lift ~10 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Cannabis retail experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Valid Selling It Right certification.
• At least one year of supervisory, keyholder, or management experience preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.
• Full-time availability, including flexibility for retail scheduling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable making decisions and resolving routine issues.
• Ability to lift approximately 10 lbs and remain standing for extended periods during a shift.
• Previous cannabis retail experience is an asset, but not required.

Compensation

Starting wage: $21.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

With 45 minutes of paid breaks during an eight-hour shift, $21.00/hour is equivalent to approximately $23.17/hour at a workplace providing the same break time unpaid.
