Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a reliable Keyholder to lead shifts and champion customer experience at Value Buds Danforth & Main. You will guide teams, ensure smooth store operations, and act as the face of the brand in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

The role emphasizes leadership by example, ownership during shifts, and collaboration with teammates while delivering compliant, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Retail, customer service or hospitality experience
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you’llbe the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.

What You’ll Do
