Value Buds Windsor is seeking a reliable Keyholder / Shift Lead to join our cannabis retail team. You’ll help customers, supervise shifts, and ensure smooth store operations during peak hours. The role emphasizes leading by example, enforcing compliance, and delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has retail or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and cannabis selling certification. Eligible to pass a criminal background check; 18+ in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification

What You’ll Do
