Job summary

Inspired Cannabis is seeking a proactive Keyholder to lead daily store operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This role focuses on sales accountability, product knowledge, and compliance with regulations in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in retail or customer-facing roles with leadership experience, CannSell certification, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age per provincial regulations (typically 19+).
• 2+ years in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role; leadership experience preferred.
• Provincial cannabis certification (CannSell or equivalent) required.
• Pre-employment criminal record check completed.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and model high-quality customer service, including resolving escalations.
• Support team with cannabis education and product recommendations.
• Assist in achieving individual and store sales targets.
• Coach teammates on sales techniques and customer engagement.
• Identify opportunities to boost sales and customer retention.
• Maintain store knowledge on products, categories, and regulations.
• Execute opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain store standards in merchandising and cleanliness.
• Provide on-shift leadership and direction to the team.
• Assist onboarding and training of new employees.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum age requirement as per provincial regulations (typically 19+).
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• 2 years plus experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role, with previous leadership or keyholder experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and support team members.
• Demonstrates ownership and accountability, and leads by example to support team performance and engagement.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate clearly to address issues proactively.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 20 lbs.
• Provincial cannabis certification (e.g., CannSell or equivalent) required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal record check.
