Cloud Nine Cannabis on Shelbourne Street in Victoria is seeking a friendly Budtender / Cannabis Sales Associate for part-time or full-time roles. You will greet customers, help them find products, and explain effects and usage while processing transactions.

No cannabis retail experience needed; training provided. The team values reliability, strong communication, and a customer‑focused approach, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing cannabis education.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Valid Selling It Right certification.
• Friendly, approachable personality with a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
• Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and professionalism when handling challenging situations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn about cannabis products, regulations, and industry developments.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.

Compensation

Starting wages:

• Part-Time Budtender: $18.50/hour
• Full-Time Budtender: $19.00/hour

With 45 minutes of paid breaks during an eight-hour shift, these starting wages are equivalent to approximately $20.41/hour for part-time employees and $20.97/hour for full-time employees, compared with workplaces providing the same break time unpaid.

Additional wage increases and advancement opportunities may be available based on performance, experience, and company needs.
